There are currently no bad reviews about the Tiki Dog Meaty High Protein Diet Pack. Out of all purchasers, 93% highly recommend the line. One thing most customer comments have in common is that these formulations have encouraged finicky dogs to eat.
We do love the high protein content (it’s above average for wet food), and the recipe is both functional and tasty — a big plus! But we do wish there were some hints of fruit or vegetable at least.
Still, we have to admit that this is premium dog food that most dogs seem to adore. And what dogs think carries the most weight when it comes to picking their food.
5. Tiki Dog Whole Foods
Overall: 4.5 out of 5
Flavor: 5 out of 5
Ingredients: 5 out of 5
Packaging: 4.5 out of 5
Price: 3.5 out of 5
Tiki Dog Whole Foods is a range that combines our favorite white meat — chicken — with seafood. This line is crafted for adult canines of all breed sizes, from small to large.
The line comes in four flavors, although they aren’t sold in a variety pack like the other Tiki wet foods. Here’s a list of all the recipes under the range:
- Chicken & Tuna in Chicken Consommé
- Chicken Recipe in Crab Consommé
- Chicken Recipe in Lobster Consommé
- Chicken Recipe in Chicken Consommé
Each can contains shredded chicken, a seafood, healthy brown rice, and superfood kale all mixed in one delicious consommé. The list of ingredients is shorter than in most of the brand’s other ranges, yet it packs a bigger punch when it comes to being a completely balanced diet.
The foods in this range come in a clear broth with concentrated stock.
Benefits:
- The formulas use non-GMO ingredients
- Contains no soy, wheat, corn, or any artificial flavors and colors.
- Offers a balanced diet for dogs of all breed sizes
- A high-protein recipe
- Comes with veggies for a nutritional boost
First 5 Ingredients
Chicken & Tuna in Chicken Consommé:

- Egg
Chicken Recipe in Chicken Consommé:
- Chicken Broth
- Chicken
- Brown Rice
- Sweet Potato

If you’ll notice most recipes have egg in the fifth spot (in one recipe, it places sixth). This is because egg can give a protein boost to any recipe aside from providing it with riboflavin and selenium.
Kale, a superfood, is also one common ingredient across all formulations. It’s high in calcium, iron, potassium and magnesium, which support a healthy heart, vision, colon, and bones.
Nutritional Breakdown:
The nutritional analysis above is the same for all recipes in the Whole Foods line.
Caloric Breakdown:
- Chicken & Tuna: 1094 ME kcal/kg; 422 ME kcal/can
- Chicken Recipe in Crab Consommé: 1027 ME kcal/kg; 396 ME kcal/can

Dog owners simply love the Whole Foods Chicken & Tuna recipe and the other flavors in this Tiki Dog Food range. There are reports where pets simply inhale the food and finish them right off! One other thing that customers like about the recipes is that all the ingredients are distinguishable from each other.
100% of purchasers recommend this for your dog to try. Aside from the brand’s no artificial flavor, color, or preservative motto, this recipe also uses non-GMO ingredients to ensure that each meal is as safe as possible.
A lip-smacking and tasty food that is loaded with everything you’d want your dogs to have makes this formula tops for us, overall. It’s just a little pricier than we’d like but worth it.
6. Tiki Dog Hearty

Based on customer reviews, most purchasers highly recommend the recipes in the Hearty line, particularly Winter Stew and Autumn Feast. Pet owners like that the foods have recognizable ingredients and that each dish even smells and looks like human food.
The meals are great by themselves (dogs eat them fast!), but they also do well as toppers for kibbles, making finicky pups eat their regular dry dog food without complaints.
We can’t find anything we don’t like in these formulations. All natural ingredients, no artificial colors, a perfect combination of vegetables and meat, and of course, a tasty flavor that dogs go wild over are pretty much everything in our good dog food checklist.
7. Tiki Dog Wildz
Overall: 4.5 out of 5
Flavor: 5 out of 5
Ingredients: 5 out of 5
Packaging: 5 out of 5
Price: 3.5 out of 5
The diet of dogs in the wild consists mainly of animal protein. Tiki Dog’s Wildz range seeks to mimic that by providing pet canines with meals made up of more than 90% animal protein.
Again, there is no variety pack available for this range but you can buy the recipes individually. The line consists of four recipes, namely:
- Beef (With Beef Liver, Lung & Kidney)
- Duck (With Chicken Liver)
- Lamb (With Lamb Liver, Lung & Kidney)
- Venison (With Beef Liver)
Each canned formula is grain-free and is 91% made up of clean animal meat that’s either grass-fed or free-range. And just like in a real wild dog’s diet, there are no artificial preservatives to mar the all-natural goodness of the food.
None of the foods contain any grain.
Benefits:
- Meats are ethically-sourced
- Animal protein is always the first ingredient
- Contains no artificial colors
- Grain-Free
- Has a short list of recognizable ingredients
First 5 Ingredients
Beef:
- Beef
- Water Sufficient for Processing
- Beef Liver
- Beef LungBeef Kidney
Duck:

- Chicken Liver
- Chickpea Flour
- Dried Yeast
Lamb:
- Lamb
- Water Sufficient for Processing
- Lamb Liver
- Lamb Lung
- Lamb Kidney
Venison:
- Venison
- Water Sufficient for Processing
- Beef Liver
- Chickpea Flour
- Dried Yeast
We can’t help but be happy with the ingredients included, particularly when we found out all the animal meat came from ethical farming. Sourced from New Zealand, the animals are either grass-fed (lamb or beef) or free-range (venison). The duck meat is from ducks raised cage-free.
There’s no skimping on quality meat. After the main ingredient is another supporting meat — usually an organ. Since dogs in the wild don’t really eat much veggies or fruits, they need to get their nutrients elsewhere. Organ meat provides plenty of the vitamins and minerals they need to thrive.
Nutritional Breakdown:
- Beef: Protein – 11%, Fat – 8%, Fiber – .5%
- Duck: Protein – 10%, Fat – 11%, Fiber – .2%
- Lamb: Protein – 10%, Fat – 11%, Fiber – .4%
- Venison: Protein – 11%, Fat – 6%, Fiber – .5%
Caloric Breakdown:
- Beef: 1393 ME kcal/kg; 521 ME kcal/can
- Duck: 1510 ME kcal/kg; 565 ME kcal/can
- Lamb: 1565 ME kcal/kg; 586 ME kcal/can
- Venison: 1053 ME kcal/kg; 394 ME kcal/can
Tiki Dog Wildz offers thoughtful recipes that have been made to target all the crucial areas of a small pet’s body, such as the joints, bones, teeth, skin and hair, energy, and immune system. It seems that their reputation is good too with buyers. Pet owners commend the meals for their high-quality ingredients and the fantastic, enticing smell of the foods.
A dog that needs lots of energy or who simply craves for plenty of meat in his diet will find that the Wildz range of recipes more than meets the bill.
The only thing that we find not entirely to our satisfaction (but highly understandable given that this recipe is mostly meat) is the high price. Except for that, we’d happily give this rating (and almost did) a perfect 5.
8. Tiki Dog Petites Lamb, Beef & Duck Pate Variety Pack
Overall: 5 out of 5
Flavor: 5 out of 5
Ingredients: 5 out of 5
Packaging: 4.5 out of 5

The Tiki Dog Pate Variety Pack offers dogs a nutritious grain-free meal in moisture-rich pate form. This variety pack for small breed doggies comes in three tail-wagging flavors:
- Duck Pate
- Beef Pate
- Lamb Pate
Each of the recipes are fully free from tapioca, a filler that’s used in some dog foods. The formulas are also protein-rich and wholesome in a delish meat broth for enhanced flavor and moisture.
Benefits:
- Features real meat as first ingredient
- Completely free of carrageenan
- Grain-free
- Contains no tapioca or fillers
- Excellent for small breed adults
First 5 Ingredients
Duck Pate:
- Duck
- Chicken Broth
- Chicken Liver
- Spinach
- Carrots
Beef Pate:
- Beef
- Beef Broth
- Beef Liver
- Ground Dried Chickpeas
- Sweet Potato
Lamb Pate:
- Lamb
- Lamb Broth
- Lamb Liver
- Ground Dried Chickpeas
- Sweet Potato
With these three recipes, Tiki Dog shows a well-rounded diet that has a perfect blend of meat and fruits/veggies. It’s interesting to see that there are organ meats too and that these take up one of the top five spots in the dishes.
Because of the addition of organ meats and the inclusion of greens, the nutritional content of each recipe was boosted way up. Further down the list, there is a long lineup of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
Nutritional Breakdown:
- Duck: Protein – 8%, Fat – 6%, Fiber 2%
- Beef: Protein – 9.5%, Fat – 5%, Fiber 2%
- Lamb: Protein – 9%, Fat – 9%, Fiber 2%
Caloric Breakdown:
- Duck: 105 kcal ME/can
- Beef: 105 kcal ME/can
- Lamb: 135 kcal ME/can
We like how soft yet meaty these pates are. Dogs, particularly those on recovery, will have no trouble chowing down on these because of the soft texture. The addition of organ meats (and in the top five ingredients too) is also another point in these recipes’ favor.
Organs are safe products for canines to ingest and consume, and they’re rich in vitamins A, B, D, E, and K, as well as the minerals iron, copper, phosphorus, and magnesium.
Meats and organs are already nutritious but when you also include superfoods, the recipes begin to really pack a nutrient punch.
As for reputation, 90% of reviewers give the variety pack their recommended rating. Purchasers are generally happy about getting their finicky pooches to scarf down on their food when these pates were served.

What Types of Dog Food Does Tiki Dog Offer?
In this section, we’ll discuss a little more about the individual types of dog food that Tiki Dog offers. All of their formulas follow a few of the company’s primary guidelines.
All Natural Ingredients – Tiki Dog wants to clear the air with its consumers to help them understand what all-natural means. There is a lot of misconception around the word natural, so they broke it down.
All-natural dog food means that they include high-quality ingredients that get sourced reliably. Tiki Dog always use real meat as their first ingredient. All natural also means that there are no fillers, by-products, added sugars, or artificial colors and preservatives. For a dog food to be all natural, it needs to follow these guidelines, and everything from Tiki Dog does.
Thoughtful Recipes with Real Benefits – Tiki Dog believes in choosing every ingredient for a specific purpose. Some companies add ingredients to fill out space on the list, but they don’t actually provide any nutritional value to your pup.
This company believes in only adding ingredients that help with your pup's energy. Skin, coat, teeth, joints, immunity, and weight. If the ingredient does not help with these purposes, it does not get added.
Variety = Flavor – Tiki Dog believes in offering a wide array of options so you can always find something that appeals to your pup. Some dogs are picky and will not eat specific proteins or vegetables, so Tiki Dog wants to make sure they offer enough unique formulas, so every pup has something to enjoy.
In addition to traditional wet and dry foods, they also offer meaty toppers, velvety mousse, and shredded meat in broth.

Many of the positive reviews express gratitude to the company for creating this food. They say that their dogs love the flavor and they gobble it up every time. There are so few negative reviews and the ones that exist say that their dogs did not like the flavor offerings.
Positive
A very tasty add-in – My dog is diabetic and very picky about his meals. This is my go-to when he has flipped his nose up at everything. I add a can of this to what has been prepared, and he will then devour his meal. It does not affect his glucose number very much at all. – Chewy Customer
Love Tiki Dog – I always joke to my friends that if Doomsday ever comes and I ran out of food, I'd have zero issues eating this stuff. It's human grade. You can quickly identify everything in it; little shrimps, shredded chicken, brown rice, etc. Treat your pups to the best stuff out there! My dogs love it! – Chewy Customer
Best wet dog food ever! – My dogs love this food!! I put it into another container so I could mix the ingredients better. I had to tell my husband not to eat it because it's dog food. It looks and smells like you could warm it up and serve to your human family!! – Chewy Customer
Negative
Not Even a Lick – I heard such great things about this product, and my Chihuahua completely snubbed it. When I opened the can it smelled like soup, thought she liked it, but she was not even remotely interested. It's more broth than meat. Smelled a little salty too, think canned soup. – Chewy Customer
